THE LGBT COMMUNITY
LGBT stands for “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender” over the past decade this movement has gained a lot of attention worldwide, especially in cities. Most people in this community face various disadvantages and are undermined in our society. They fear discrimination and remain closeted in their communities. They fear of opening up their thoughts to the public and also represented through a flag, which is the colour of rainbows which are red, blue, green, yellow, purple etc. And the reason behind this is that the community accepts people from all backgrounds with respect to their identity. But the rising tensions in the political atmosphere and lack of awareness has resulted in shameful discrimination, especially in conservative societies.
