SHOULD WE ARGUE WITH OUR PARENTS? Growing in an Indian family, arguing with our elders is never a part of our culture. Earlier it was a strict rule that the younger generation would never be a part of the family discussion, it doesn't matter if the decision is to be made for you. We are always taught to love, respect, and obey our elders because they have seen the larger picture of the world and are more experienced than us. Also, it is said that our elders might sound rude to us, but they are always our well-wishers. The decision they take can be hard to accept but is just for a better future. It is true that our parents can never turn into a destroyer to us as they will always stand upright to filter the danger before it reaches us.
