Which is the real education hub in India

An education hub is a place where someone cannot doubt the availability of excellent institutions, good quality education, and opportunities. Almost every city and town has a school and even a college. But that doesn't make them an educational hub. From good quality education to immense opportunities for the students is what makes a particular to be known as an educational hub. India has multiple such educational hubs in metro cities and well-developed other regions. We'll have a look at the educational hubs present in the country.

  1. Mumbai

The capital city of Maharashtra, Mumbai, is a highly developed city in India. It is also the financial capital of the country with the existence of the two prominent stock markets viz., BSE & NSE. But besides the industrial development, the city is a complete educational hub.

Mumbai University (MU) and IIT Bombay are two well-reputed universities of the country present in Mumbai. There are plenty of century-old as well as newly established and well-managed schools and college institutions in Mumbai that are visited by foreign students as well. Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Wilson College, Elphinstone College, Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), etc., are some of the most reputed institutions of India that exist in Mumbai.

The availability of opportunities is also huge considering the number of industries that exist here. But the con is that Mumbai is highly expensive, full of people, and hence, overly competitive in terms of everything.

  1. Delhi

The second most popular city of India, Delhi, is also an education hub with the existence of the University of Delhi (DU) and IIT Delhi.

The cbse schools in Delhi is a very prestigious board of education all over the country, and all of its schools are affiliated with it. In fact, some schools in Mumbai are also affiliated with the CBSE board. Delhi is a very known city for quality school education with its best quality school institutions and some of the top schools are international schools in Delhi, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) are prominent institutions from Delhi. Delhi is filled with educational as well as industrial opportunities, but it has a negative point for excessive pollution.

  1. Bangalore

The upcoming hub for start-ups and IT industries, Bangalore is also an education hub with plenty of reputed educational institutions and opportunities. IIM Bangalore and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) are among India's most prominent universities in Bangalore. The city is great in terms of education quality for all levels of education, from primary school to post-graduation. The global IT industry is closely linked with Bangalore and thereby offers plenty of industrial opportunities as well. Bangalore is known to encourage creativity and innovation from its schools and is the ultimate boosting region for the industries of India. The negative point of Bangalore in terms of educational facilities is that it is highly populated, being the third most populous city of India. So the amount of competition in Bangalore can be compared to that of Mumbai. Students will have to push a lot to get what they want in the city. They've proved themselves in each stage of life and development to acquire a position.

  1. Chennai

The capital city of Tamil Nadu, Chennai is another education hub of India and is specifically known for quality education and supreme importance to the English language. Besides the rich culture and oldest temples of the world, Chennai houses some of the most reputed educational institutions from the globe. The University of Madras and the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) are two very well-known universities from Chennai. Also, Chennai is the city for a long time with the highest literacy rate in the country. People give greater importance to education in Chennai.

  1. Dehradun

Coming back to the northern part of India after checking Delhi. Dehradun is the capital city of Uttarakhand and is another education hub in the country. Not much included in the lists due to its fewer connections to the metro cities, Dehradun is actually well-known for quality education.

With tourism as the primary industry of the city, people tend to think of it as a minutely developed region. But Dehradun is carefully planned in terms of educational facilities and is hugely developed to fulfill all the possible needs of any student. Along with excellent institutions for school and college education of the regional students, Dehradun also houses the best Boarding Schools of India to provide quality education to students coming from different parts of the nation.

Indian Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPEM), Doon University, DAV Post Graduate College are some of the prominent and well-reputed educational institutions from the city of Dehradun.

The city has a positive point of pleasant and lovely environment that is ideal for learning. This is the main factor that draws the attention of students from the whole country to its boarding schools. And unlike the metro cities, there isn't a cut-throat competition in Dehradun, thereby making a better learning environment for the students. Otherwise, students nowadays stress a lot by thinking of the competition they're going to have to face. This is why this city is known to be able to provide the best possible learning environment to the students. Also, other city-oriented problems like population and pollution don't exist in the calm nature of Dehradun.
